In Loving Memory: Reverend Thomas J. Spann

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Reverend Thomas J. Spann, a beloved member of our community and founding member of The Brooklyn All Stars. At Serenity Funeral Home & Cremations, 'Home of Lasting Memories,' we are honored to celebrate his life and legacy.

Reverend Spann leaves behind his loving wife, Donna Carrington Spann; daughters, Denise Spann-Morgan, Stephanie Spann, Chrysanthius Spann-Williams, Sheila Spann Chang (Glen), and Jordan Smith (Violet); 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; and 1 great-great-great grandchild. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed by all.

A celebration of life service will be held at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC, on Saturday at 3 p.m. Friends and family are invited to attend and share their memories of Reverend Spann's remarkable life.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly request that you visit our floral store in memory of Reverend Thomas Spann. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery, 1730 W.
